Ingredients

  • 4 medium black octopus
  • 3 tablespoons of oil
  • ½ kilo of chickpeas
  • 4 spoonfuls of colouring
  • 6 stalks
  • 3 carrots
  • 1 turnip
  • 1 parsnip
  • 1 piece of cabbage
  • 2 potatoes
  • 1 sweet potato

Preparation

Soak the chickpeas for 12 hours beforehand.

It is advisable to freeze the octopus 2 or 3 days before making the stew.

Cook everything raw, except the potatoes and sweet potato, which are added later.
