The Calp Town Hall has transformed this impressive 7-meter-high facade into a tribute to the town's long history and traditions. Artists Susa Alcántara and Nayra López Martos have used vibrant colors to bring joy and vitality to this area of the old town. The aim of the artwork is for any resident passing by to feel a connection and fondly remember their own ancestors.
What stands out most is its central message about the legacy and values passed down from one generation to the next. Unlike other older murals in the area, this one uses a more universal and modern style to represent all senior citizens equally. With its large size and luminous quality, the artwork not only decorates the street but also serves as a permanent reminder of respect and gratitude towards the town's oldest residents.
