The artistic railing entitled "Amor al Mar, Amor" is a work located at the end of Castelló Street, facing La Fossa beach in Calp. Installed by the City Council as a tribute to the town's deep historical connection with the sea and its fishing tradition, it was designed and crafted in galvanized iron by the sculptor Toni Marí from Xàbia. He created a structure representing a Posidonia seagrass meadow adorned with figures of marine species characteristic of the Calp coastline, such as the mahi-mahi, gilthead seabream, white shrimp, and octopus. Each of these represents life at sea and the traditional economy of the area. The work also incorporates poems written by Joaquín Roselló, a Calp native and former deep-sea fishing captain, whose verses lend a literary and emotional dimension to the piece, reinforcing its character as a tribute to those who have lived and worked at sea.

This project is also linked to the commemoration of the centenary of the Fishermen's Guild, consolidating a meeting point between art, landscape, memory and maritime culture that invites inhabitants and visitors to contemplate the historical relationship between Calp and the Mediterranean.
