The Calp town hall are organising until September 4, free guided tours in their old town, a great opportunity to discover part of the history of the municipality as well as places of great charm and beauty: the Forat a la Mar, part of the old stone wall and door to the Moorish neighbor-hood, the Torreó de la Peça, the old de-fense of the city, or the picturesque plaça dels Mariners near to the Fishermen’s Guild, paying tribute to Calp’s nautical roots.The visits, organised by the department of Dynamisation of the old town with the col-laboration of the Tourism department, will take place every week from Wednesday to Sunday at two different times: 20.30 p.m. and 21:30 p.m. in various languages. Wednesdays in English and Spanish; Thursdays in Valencian and Spanish; Fridays in French and Spanish, Saturdays in English and Spanish and Sundays in Valencian and Spanish. People interested must register in advance at the tourist offices and in the tourist information points or by phone 96 583 69 20. There will be a maximum of 20 people per group and the estimated duration of the tour will be 45 minutes.The meeting point will be at the Casa de Cultura 15 minutes before the visit. All visitors must arrive on time. These guided visits will be carried out following the safety and hygiene meas-ures against COVID-19: a safety distance of 1.5 meters and masks are obligatory
