To mark the Bofill Year, the Calp Town Council launched a series of free guided tours in 2023 of the buildings designed by Ricardo Bofill in the Manzanera district. This initiative aimed to highlight the importance of the Catalan architect's architectural legacy in Calp, which over the years has become an icon of second-century architecture worldwide.

The success of this initiative has led the Town Council to continue offering these tours, which attract numerous visitors interested in Bofill's work. The tours will resume in May, taking place on May 1, 2, 9, 16, and 30 at 10:30 a.m. in Spanish. Additional tours are planned for June 13, 20, and 27 at 10:30 a.m. in Spanish. During the peak summer season, tours in other languages are planned.

The tour will begin on foot at the House of Culture and will include visits to the exteriors of the Plexus, Xanadú, Amphitheater, and Red Wall buildings. It will also cover part of the Voramar promenade—offering views of the Social Club—as well as the highest point of La Manzanera, where the villas designed by Bofill are located, allowing for a panoramic view of the entire architectural complex.

To participate in the tours, prior registration is required. You can register at any of the Calp tourist offices, by phone at +34 965 836 920 / +34 965 838 532, or by email at turismo@ajcalp.es.
