Following the excellent reception of the last edition of "La Nit Encesa" (The Night of Lights), the Departments of Revitalization of the Old Town and Culture have announced the continuation of "La Calle del Arte" (The Street of Art). The event will maintain its strategic location on Santísimo Cristo Street, next to the emblematic Torreó de la Peça (Peça Tower).
The main objective of this project is to transform the heart of the town into a showcase for local talent. Participating artists will not only exhibit their finished pieces but will also demonstrate their creative process live, allowing the public to witness the artworks come to life in that very moment.
With this initiative, the City Council seeks to merge artistic expression with the heritage value of Calp's Old Town. The event is established as a regular fixture on the cultural calendar and will be held on the first Sunday of each month, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Santísimo Cristo Street, next to the Torreó de la Peça.
This commitment to local culture aims to further revitalize the historic center, attracting both residents and visitors to a creative, open-air environment. The initiative will kick off this coming Sunday, April 5th.
