FRIDAY 15th July

10:00PM Music Festival “AS DE GUÍA” at “Plaza Mayor” with the performance of “JC 15”, “LOCOS DE ATAR”, ”MO´Roots”. Host: AYUNTAMIENTO DE CALP, with the collaboration of “COMISSIÓ DE FESTES MARE DE DÉU DEL CARME DE CALP”. ¡We are waiting for all the people of Calp! Remark: There will be bar services consisting of drinks and sandwiches at affordable prices starting at 9:00PM.

Saturday 16th July

11:30AM Concentration of authorities, Commission of festivities, Queens and Bridesmaids, guests and marine brotherhood at “Plaça dels mariners” to assist to the “Santa Misa” that will be celebrated at the “Parroquia Nuestra Señora de las Nieves” church.

12:00AM Dignified celebration of the “Santa Misa”, with the accompaniment of the “CORAL IFACH”. When the “Santa Misa” ends there will be a “Mascleta” at the “Plaza Mayor” organised by the pyrotechnics “MEDITERRANEO”.

Sunday 17th July

08:30PM Traditional floral offering and procession to the “SANTISIMA VIRGEN DEL CARMEN”. In the area of the fishing port. The sailor brotherhood and devotees in general are asked to provide bouquets for the offering. MARINE PROCESSION: In the area of the fishing port, with the accompainment of the“Colla de xirimiters EL CARELLOT” and the “UNIÖN MUSICAL CALP IFACH”. At the end of the procession there will be a rest, then a crown of flowers will be given to the “Club de Remo de Calp” by “Real Club Nautico de Calp” and the “Cofradía de Pescadores de Calp, that will be deposited at open sea in memory of the shipwrecked that died in the sea. At the end of the procession fireworks will be fired in charge of the pyrotechnics “MEDITERRANEO”.

10:30AM Water inflatable, “cucañas” (Tug O’War, egg race,etc.) Accompanied by enviromental music and the “Colla XIRIMITERS DEL CARELLOT”. 12:00AM ”Caldero’s contest”. In which the three best rice dishes cooked according the rules of said contest will be rewarded. “Caldero” entertained by “Colla XIRIMITERS DEL CARELLOT”. Rules: The paellas will be at least made of 1.5kg of rice and will have a minimum of 70 cm in diameter also they will be made with “PEIX DE CALP” exclusively. REMARK: Any paella that does not respect the rules will be kicked out of the contest. At the end of the “CALDERO” there will be a discomobile at the fishing port. REMARK: The comission reserves the modification or cancellation of any event of this program without previous advertising.

XVI MINI FESTIVAL CREAMPOP with the performance of “LOS VINAGRES”, “ALBERTO&GARCÍA”,”PAPAYA” and “THE DOCTOR DJ” at Pedro García Ortiz street.
