Work made by the artist Ellas Úrbez in the year 2000 to honor the Moors and Christians festivities of the Lown.
It is a mural divided into two scenes. It is located on the enclosure of two facades of two different buildings, currently inhabited.
Elias Úrbez developed a project inspired by the classic illustrations of advertising posters and comic book covers, using a descriptive technique, superimposing figures and backgrounds as a compositional collage. Different historical and cultural aspects of the Moors and Christians festivals appear in the composition: the representation of the miracle, the landing, the portrait of the founcers and the description of the opposing sides (moors and christians) in their gala costumes. All of this, presided over by the town of Calp and the Peñón de Ifach.
