From June 1 the Valencian Community entered Phase 2, the beaches of Calp re-opened for swimming and sunbathing. In order to open them safely, the City Council has established a series of measures as well as regulations aimed at users to avoid new infections. And they request full responsibility:
A distance of two meters must be maintained both on the sand and in the water.
The six-meter strip should be left free from the seashore to the sand. This area is reserved only for walking and therefore, no towels can be placed or games can be played.
It is recommended when walking to always keep to the right.
The footbaths will not be operational due to disinfection issues.
Until 9.30 am, the maintenance and cleaning services will have priority use of the beaches.
The Morelló and Calalga coves will be closed due to their small size.
This year there will be no pedalos or other types of games on the beaches and the fixed umbrellas will be free for the public to use.
Irresponsible behavior will be sanctioned.
All accesses to the beaches may be used and the lifeguard and rescue services began on June 6.
